Alan W. Ropes is the CEO/President and focuses on enhancing and maximizing a positive customer experience for all customers engaged with VYFI. He oversees product development, sales, operations, and service delivery in all areas of the company including Security Services, Compliance, Governance, and Business Continuity.
Alan was the VP/Chief Operating Officer at CastleGarde for 15 years, during which time the company grew from supporting 40 to over 300 credit unions. With an extensive background in all aspects of operations management, in addition to CastleGarde, Alan’s previous senior management positions have included ITT’s Advanced Technology Center, Nielsen Media Research, Sun Microsystems as well as various key management roles in both small and medium size consulting companies. Having spent over 25 years managing and directing the activities of high-end complex data centers, Alan has an extensive knowledge base and experience in the areas of technology and infrastructure processes, procedures, and compliance-focused environments.
Alan has a BS in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, Connecticut and lives in Clearwater, FL with his wife Sondra, 2 dogs, 5 cats and enjoys visits from their 2 children and 6 grandchildren.

Stephanie Cartwright, MBA, CUCE, BSACS, CRVPM, CUERME, serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Compliance Services at VYFI, LLC. In her role, she oversees the delivery of compliance services and manages the team responsible for conducting related assessments. With 30 years of experience in the credit union sector, Stephanie is adept at guiding clients through the complex and evolving regulatory landscape. Her extensive background as a credit union employee provides her with a deep understanding of industry expectations and the importance of fostering an exceptional member experience.
Stephanie's knowledge spans a range of subjects including BSA/AML/OFAC, Regulation Z, abusive members, elder abuse, training, complaint handling, information security, auditing, risk management, assessments, policies and procedures, fraud, and vendor management. Her contributions to the industry are well recognized; she has authored articles for CUNA and various state leagues, participated in CUNA's Mentor Program, and presented on numerous regulatory compliance topics. Stephanie's comprehensive knowledge and experience make her a highly regarded professional in credit union compliance.
Jeremy Walker

Jeremy Walker is Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Technology Services at VYFI. In his role, Jeremy leads the security experts responsible for performing assessments and drives VYFI’s customer facing technology initiatives.
Jeremy has a well-rounded Information Technology and Information Security background with over 20 years’ combined experience with Information Technology systems within the Private sector, DoD, and US intelligence community- including two years overseas in support of multiple “3” letter agencies.
Jeremy graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a master’s degree in Cybersecurity and holds several industry certifications including CISSP with the ISSAP concentration, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Sans GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). He is a certified Community College of the Air Force instructor with over 400 hours of Cyber-security instruction and spent time as an adjunct professor in Bay Path University’s graduate Cybersecurity program.
When not working, Jeremy enjoys time with wife, Kendall, and daughter in New Port Richey, Florida.
Bryan P. Faith

Bryan P. Faith is Vice President of Advanced Security Services at VYFI. He is responsible for leading VYFI’s penetration testing team, developing and delivering enhanced testing services and expanding the companies testing, assessment and reporting capabilities.
Bryan is a seasoned IT Security Professional with over 23 years of experience managing IT operations and managing advanced penetration testing teams. He spent 13 years in IT at a Michigan based credit union, then moved into security consulting where he has spent the last 10 years developing security testing product portfolios, managing penetration testing teams, as well as building testing regimens for organizations ranging in size from 10 employees to Fortune 50 enterprises. A majority of that time was focused on performing those specific assessments and services for hundreds of credit unions across the county. He has conducted hundreds of penetration tests as well as other risk-based security assessments. Most recently he formed and lead an advanced penetration testing team at Cyber Defense Labs.
Bryan's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and he holds certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certification of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSKv4), and Certified Cloud Security Officer (C)CSO. He has written numerous articles on security topics ranging from basic cybersecurity hygiene to specific tactical exploits. His dedication to enhancing cybersecurity, coupled with his strategic thinking and technical expertise, continues to shape his impactful contributions in the realm of IT security. When not working, Bryan enjoys time with his wife Candice and children in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina.
